RSPCA issues warning after dogs left in hot cars in Lincolnshire

The RSPCA's revealed it had to help rescue half a dozen dogs that were left alone in cars, in different parts of Lincolnshire, during last weekends hot weather.

The charity says it's seen a worrying increase in owners simply leaving their pets behind, while on a day out or visiting the shops.

Nationally, there were over 200 reports last weekend alone.

Pet owners are being warned action will be taken against them, if they're caught leaving dogs at risk during hot weather.
