Project to build a steel sculpture of a Lancaster Bomber officially begins later.

RAF veterans will be helping to mark the groundbreaking for the full size statue just off the A46 near Norton Disney.

RAF veterans and schoolchildren will be helping to mark the start of a project to build a full size steel sculpture of a Lancaster Bomber later.

They will be taking part in a groundbreaking ceremony near the A46 at Norton Disney - where the aircraft will eventually stand to welcome people to 'Bomber County'

It'll reach a height of 100 feet off the ground once its completed - which could be as soon as November.
