Pressure on Lincolnshire's health services could increase due to cuts

Lincolnshire's health services could be under even more pressure in a few years, due to cut backs to programs which help people lose weight and stop smoking.

An investigation by magazine Pulse has found most councils are reducing the cash going towards public health.

Lincolnshire's County Council's weight management service has already been scrapped.

Stop smoking services has also been cut back by around a fifth over the past five years.

Pulse claim it could make issues like obesity even worse, compounding pressure on the NHS.
