Number of teenage victims of domestic violence expected to rise in North East Lincs

Change in the law means more young people are likely to come forward.

It's hoped a change in the law'll mean more teenage victims of domestic abuse will ask for help.

North East Lincolnshire's Safeguarding Team are expecting the number of referrals to rise next month.

It's as the definition of DV is being altered to include those age 16 and above.

Before it's just be aged 18 and over.
