Local companies will help tackle crime by liaising with police and CCTV controllers
More is going to be done to tackle crime in Town Centres across South Kesteven.
The Council is funding a new 'business watch' scheme, traders who sign up will be able to share information with CCTV controllers and the Police via a radio system.
It means if someone is caught shoplifting and banned from one store they'll automatically be blocked from all businesses who are part of the network.
It's been launched in Bourne but is expected to be rolled out across the district.
