More officers has to be 'priority' for Humberside Police

The chair of the Humberside Police Federation Peter Musgrave says recruiting more officers has to be the priority to fulfill the Police and Crime Plan.

Police and Crime Commissioner Keith Hunter has vowed to give communities more control over how resources are used and says there are no plans to close any police stations.

The plan, which is due to be released this week, reveals Humberside has 700 fewer officers than they did in 2008.
