Lincolnshire's 'Snow Heroes' recognised

Paramedics, carers, vets and volunteers are all among Lincolnshire's 'Snow Heroes' who have been recognised for going above and beyond during February's cold weather.

Among them was carer Pauline Wood, who walked four miles through the snow to help elderly patients.

The paramedics who helped a woman in labour, stuck in a drift near Stamford, were also recognised at an award ceremony in Hemswell Cliff last night.
