Lincolnshire police will act if large gatherings take place over the Bank holiday weekend

Officers will issue advice but fine people if they persist

Lincolnshire police say lockdown rules may have eased slightly but they're still prepared to take action against anyone holding parties or large gatherings.

There's not been a big increase in rule breaking since the Prime Minsters announcement a week last Sunday however officers believe there's been a slow general rise over the last few weeks.

Deputy chief constable Jason Harwin says they'll provide advice to anyone going against the rules but ultimately they're prepared to act.
