It's down to cuts in the amount of funding it receives
Lincolnshire police is to cut both the number of officers and PCSOs.
The force is looking to save just over 3 million pounds during the next financial year.
They'll be a reduction of 40 officers and 33 PSCOs but it's hoped there'll be no compulsory redundancies with the cuts being achieved through people moving on.
Meanwhile about 30 support staff positions will go.
Chief Constable Bill Skelly admits it'll reduce the service it can provide but says under the current funding arrangements they had no choice but to take action.
