Hundreds in North East Lincolnshire warned about leaving too much rubbish out

Hundreds of people in North East Lincolnshire have been warned they're leaving out too much rubbish, after the council abandoned weekly collections last year.

Since February 1 hundred and 11 warning letters have been sent out to households leaving extra bags out, hundreds more have been urged not to leave their bins out on the street.

The council made the controversial changes to the way they collect waste in November, they want people to recycle more and help keep the streets tidy.

They've threatened to issue fines to those who consistently break the new rules.
