Future of childrens services at Boston Pilgrim hospital discussed

Proposals could see some children treated elsewhere

A vital meeting takes place this morning about plans to downgrade children's services at Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

The board are meeting to look at proposals for a new model which'll see a small percentage of complex childrens cases as well as high risk pregnancies transferred to Lincoln.

It's because they don't have the staff to fill the rota - but managers insist it'll only affect about 2 patients a day.
