Local elections have taken place and it couldn't have been closer for North East Lincolnshire Council. However, Labour remain in control of the City of Lincoln Council.
After three re-counts...it came down to just three votes in the Immingham Ward that gave Labour the seat they needed to remain the largest party.
It means with a third of the seats contested yesterday Labour is now on 19 , the Conservatives up to 18. There are 4 Liberal Democrats and 1 Independent. UKIP no longer have any Councillors in North East Lincolnshire .
Talks are now expected to take place between the parties to see to determine who will run the Council.
Meanwhile Labour remain in control of the City of Lincoln Council but have lost seats.
They held 7, but the Conservatives picked up 3 more at the expense of Labour.
In total, Labour drop down to 24 seats but still have a large majority - the Tories now have 9.
