Calls for industrial action amongst some North Lincolnshire Council workers rejected

It follows unease over new expenses rules for those using their own car on Council business

Calls for industrial action at North Lincolnshire council have been rejected by union members.

The ballot followed criticism of a new expenses scheme for staff who use  their own car.

The Council's proposing to pay out significantly less especially for essential users.

The vote saw highest users against the plans but they were accepted by others, which formed the majority.
