Boston project looks to bridge "skills gap" in engineering

Firms find difficulties recruiting trained engineers

A new project in Boston is looking to help bridge the skills gap in engineering.

Many firms in the engineering sector struggle to recruit trained staff.

There are also concerns Brexit might make it even more difficult.  

Now a new programme is hoping to get youngsters interested in engineering so an education day's been held for teachers, to promote the subject.
