Anger over plans to cut North Kesteven District Council's access points in local villages

Billinghay, Heckington, Navenby, Metheringham, Skellingthorpe, Waddington and Washingborough are affected

There's anger at confirmation North Kesteven District Council is cutting funding from all Local Access Points used to deliver the councils services.

From next March, the offices in Billinghay, Heckington, Navenby, Metheringham, Skellingthorpe, Waddington and Washingborough will be axed though money will, instead, be spent on two additional 'digital hubs' which will visit communities once a week.

Jan Palmer, chair of Heckington Parish council says it won't help vulnerable people..

We asked North Kesteven District Council for a comment but so far they haven't responded.
