95 year old 'splashed by passing drivers' in Sleaford died of natural causes

A 95-year-old woman who fell in Sleaford did not die because she was splashed by passing vehicles.

Police say Hilda Moore instead died of natural causes - after collapsing on Mareham Lane last month.

It was claimed she was soaked several times by drivers, but police say this wasn't the cause of her death.

2 people did drive through puddles on the road next to her though, officers have spoken to the drivers but say no future action will be taken.

Next week, work will start on the road to stop puddles building up.
