Over £29 million worth of government funding has been pledged to Lincolnshire for a range of major projects.
Cash is going towards improvments to the A17 and A46, as well as towards growth projects for Gainsborough and Sleaford.
Its all part of the government's 'Midlands Engine' strategy to boost growth across the region - Andrew Percy.
Funding's also been confirmed for a food enterprise zones in Grimsby and Hemswell - the status should help food production companies in the area by loosening regulation and pooling resources.
£5 million is going to a new centre for health science at the University Of Lincoln - which could be the first step towards creating a medical school for the area.
