Multiple dates from Saturday, April 20th to Sunday, April 21st
Come and visit one of the largest ‘O’ gauge model railways in the world, depicting the East Coast Main Line from London Kings Cross to Leeds Central in the period from the 1920s to the end of steam on BR with an acknowledgement to the diesel era. All hand built and covering an area of 2500 square feet, the layout requires 10 people to operate it.
The layout includes over:
• 180 locomotives
• 100 coaches
• 200 wagons and vans
• 150 pieces of pointwork
• ½ a mile of track
• 9 stations
Plenty to interest all ages from 3 to 103. Stroll round the layout at your own speed and take in the atmosphere of the steam age railway then round off your visit with a cup of tea and cake in our cosy buffet area.
Last admissions one hour before closing time.
