Appeals from local Food Banks.
As a school, we pride ourselves in the food we give to our children and during this difficult time we would like to be able to offer these services to others in the community. At a small cost of £2.50 for a main and a pudding, we are offering to deliver (free of charge) a roast dinner on a Thursday lunch time to those over the age of 70 in Washingborough, Heighington and Canwick. If you are interested in this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address, contact telephone number and any allergies. We would love to be able to help as many people as possible.
We would deeply appreciate it if you could please share this post and support. With your following this would have a significant impact on our campaign.
All donations will go towards providing sustenance care packages to the Pilgrim Hospital for critical care staff and hopefully across the county too. A special mention to Alison from SoS Pilgrim - Call To Action for supporting this campaign.

Details of the Appeal or Support Group: I'm from the ECO Centre in Skegness, Flourishing Families project. With the help of community support I am distributing well-being packs for local children via the foodbank and primary schools. If businesses have any promotional freebies they could donate (pens, colouring sheets, sweets, small toys) I would be very grateful. This is spreading smiles for families during these turbulent times; really making a difference to wel-lbeing.
Details of the Appeal or Support Group: Martha age 6 asked me what I was reading on Facebook. I said I was reading about the old people in care homes are running out of supplies such as shampoo and body washes. She went and got £20 of her birthday money so I could go and buy some supplies and she could make them pamper bags.
Ayda age 3 went and got £10 of her pocket money.
So I went to home bargains and purchased £30 of products. The girls made 6 bags, each bag had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, flannel, deodorant, packet of boiled sweets.
They decorated labels and Martha wrote them a lovely letter.
These were then donated. Martha then asked me if there was only 6 people that lived in the care homes, I informed her there were lots. She then asked what she could do to raise more money so no one was left out. I helped her set up a just giving page and so far she has raised over £300!!

Carol is using the lock down time to train her newest german Spitz called Pattie. You will need to scroll down to Wed 10th March 2020 for the first one.
The lessons are short bite sized ones for you to try.
The lessons are free and will keep your dog’s mind exercised as well as your own. You will develop a greater loving relationship with your dog. The lessons are force free and mainly off lead.
Unfortunately problem dogs cannot be discussed on this medium but when once you and your dog start talking the same language you may find your problems reducing.
Details of the Appeal or Support Group: Ark Wildlife Park is home to over 250 rescue animals. Many of them would have been put to sleep or abandoned had the Ark not stepped in. Whilst our gates are closed to visitors we get no income yet our expenses are the same. We cannot simply put all the animals in bubble wrap on a shelf till this blows over. Our electric is still on running animals heaters, the feed Bill's and the vet bills still come in and we still have keepers to pay. We have set up a crowdfunder page as friends of the Ark to get any support we can to keep the animals fed and warm.
