Eddie was one of the original team that was at the launch of Lincs FM in 1992. He presented the weekday afternoon show for over 15 years broadcasting all over the county from shops in Grimsby and Spalding at the top of Lincoln Cathedral to the beach at Skegness and a pub in Sutton On Sea.
Eddie's earliest claim to fame was that he was born in the same hospital as 80's pop star Kim Wilde, although he doesn't remember much about it. His earliest radio moment was at the age of 14 when he set up a mini radio station in his bedroom. Soon after he got behind the mic at his local hospital radio station and the rest, as they say, is history.
He's married to Jan with two children James and Sarah and two cats Billy and Tommy.
These days Eddie spends a lot of time carefully choosing the music that you get to hear of the radio. Not only does he listen to lots of music he's also in daily contact with the UK's leading record companies working on competitions and arranging for the biggest pop stars to be interviewed on the radio and sometimes even to perform their music on air.
Eddie is on the panel of musical brains that helps decide the names on the shortlist for the Brit Award categories as well as helping select the yearly 'sounds of' poll that help shape the careers of many new acts.
