Boston United’s unbeaten run has ended. They lost 1-nil to Leamington with both sides ending the game with just ten men.  Reece Thompson was sent off for

the Pilgrims after picking up TWO yellow cards during the SAME offence.  One was for a foul, the other for then throwing the ball at an opponent.  Moments

later – and just four minutes after coming on a sub -  Leamington’s also had a man sent off.

14th February:

Boston United have signed former Sligo Rovers striker Benny Igiehon.

The 24 year old has just been handed international clearance to move the The Jakemans, after several months in Ireland.

He was a top scorer for Scarborough Athletic last season.

11th February:

3 goals in 12 minutes earned Boston United a point at home to Curzon Ashton after they came from 3 nil down to draw 3 all.

The goals came from Reece Thomson with Brad Abbot getting 2.

Yesterday The Pilgrims completed the signing of former West Bromwich Albion and Notts County right-back Wes Atkinson.

Five different goal scorers helped to secure a 5-1 win for Boston United against North Ferriby.

Boston United's match with Brackley Town has been postponed.

It's because their opponents have progressed through to the next round of the FA Trophy.

The Pilgrims have already had their game with Spennymoor rearranged for the same reason.

Boston United climb to 12th, after another good home win.

The Pilgrims beat Tamworth 3-1, with goals from Reece Thompson and two from Ashley Hemmings.

Just 2 months into the job, Boston United boss Craig Elliot has been named Manager of the Month by the National League North.

He stepped up to be Adam Murray's successor in November last year.

2nd January

Gainsborough Trinity and Boston United battled it out in a 1-1 draw.

It was their second derby in less than a week.

Boston United beat Gainsborough Trinity 2-0. Brad Abbott and Jay Rollins both scored

23rd December:

Boston United came close to getting in to the record books yesterday with a penalty awarded just SIXTEEN SECONDS in to their 3-2 win at Alfreton.

Reece Thomson was brought down in the area just after kick off and Ashley Hemmings stepped up and scored the penalty.

Hemmings got the second too again with a penalty, Jordan Keane added a third.

Hemmings has now scored 6 penalties in 8 games , but isn’t a record breaker.  The fastest penalty awarded was actually given in just SIX SECONDS in an FA Trophy match between Witton Albion and Chester.

Boston United overturned a late deficit to beat Southport 3-2.

2nd December

Craig Elliot has got his first win as manager of Boston United.  They came from behind to beat York 2-1.

Adriano Moke had put York in front 20 minutes in Jordan Kane levelled the game for Boston after the break, with the winner coming from an Ashley Hemmings penalty in the 74th.

Boston have also confirmed the new signing of midfielder Brad Abbot. The 22 year old has joined from Buxton for an undisclosed fee.

25th November:

Boston United will have to to win a replay on Tuesday if they're to progress to the next round of the FA trophy- they drew 2 all at home to Kidderminster Harriers.

22nd November

It was Gainsborough Trinity who took home the silverware in the Lincolnshire County Cup final against Boston United.

They won in dramatic fashion - on penalties - after the game ended 2 - all.

21st November

Gainsborough Trinity host Boston United in the Lincolnshire County Cup final.

Boston United lost 3-1 at Harrogate – despite taking an early lead.

Boston United have entered the third round qualifying for the FA Trophy - Boston have drawn Kidderminster Harriers at home.

In the National North, Boston United were forced to share the point with again an injury-time goal to blame.

Leading 2-1 James Ball headed home an equaliser for Stockport in the 96th minute!  Gregg Smith and Jay Rollins got the goals for Boston.

Boston United have got their first match since the manager Adam Murray resigned at the weekend.

Assistant boss Karl Hawley is in charge tonight as the Pilgrims host Salford.

The club have given themselves a week to find a new leader - the deadline is Friday tea time.

Adam Murray resigned after the team lost on Saturday.

Assistant manager Karl Hawley is currently in charge.

Boston United's manager has resigned after the Pilgrims lost 3-2 to Brackley Town.

Adam Murray has been in charge since December last year. But the squad are second from bottom in their league.

It was a bruising night for Boston United, who are out of the Fa Cup.

They had initially drew 1-1 in their replay against Chorley, but the Pilgrims lost 4-3 to their opposition on penalties.

Boston United have it all to play for in the FA Cup. They've got a replay after a goalless draw at Chorley.

It was a tense last 15 minutes for the Pilgrims, after Jan Yeoman was sent off.

Boston United are travelling to Chorley.

Boston United lost at Telford, in a game that saw Shane Sutton score at both ends, first for his own team then an own goal for the Pilgrims.

That means they'll be making the away visit on Tuesday.

It's an FA Cup match for Boston United this afternoon - they're welcoming Haughmond.

The Pilgrims have got new signings - Jack Thomas and Liam Wakefield. But Jack Cowgill has left.

Boston United ended their 2-1 defeat at FC United of Manchester with just 9 men, after Gregg Smith and Brad McGowan were both sent off.  For Smith it is the second time this season meaning he now misses the next 4 games

Boston United have re signed their reigning player of the year Jay Rollins.

The 23 year old who netted 18 goals during his first two seasons with the Pilgrims has signed a new contract till the end of the season.

He is available to play in this afternoons match against FC United of Manchester.
