Woman stabbed partner after drunken argument in Ingoldmells

A woman stabbed her partner after they'd had a drunken argument while they were on holiday in Ingoldmells, a court's heard.

Kimberley Payne, who's 27 and from Bulwell in Nottingham, was seen cowering on the floor while her partner stood over her and was heard shouting.

She then picked up a knife and stabbed him in the leg. Moments later she called the emergency services and confessed.

Her partner recovered within a week, she's been given a suspended prison sentence.
