Village residents return home following gas leak

After farm machinery damaged a pipeline underneath a field at Fillingham, people were evacuated from the surrounding area...

It's a return back to normality for residents in a Lincolnshire village this morning after they were evacuated from their homes.

A major gas leak was reported on Wednesday evening after farm machinery damaged a pipeline near to Fillingham.

Now the leak's been capped and exclusion zone lifted.

National Grid say they'll continue to work on the damaged pipe and that gas supplies in the area remain unaffected.
