CCTV cameras in North Kesteven will remain switched on, despite the closure of a local business group.
North Kesteven District Council has now agreed to co-fund the cameras along with town councils. It was feared security in towns including Sleaford would be cut as the Sleaford Business Improvement District, which funded CCTV, will close at the end of September.
It is shutting after local businesses voted against continuing to fund Sleaford BID.
There are 3 cameras in North Hykeham with a further 8 in Sleaford and they've been used in around 600 cases over the past 8 years.
The display will take place at RAF Waddington around Thursday lunchtime
