It's been claimed that the council aren't doing enough to help families in food poverty in Grantham...

People living in food poverty in Grantham have been let down by the government and their local council. That's the message from SKDC's Labour Leader Charmaine Morgan. She approached the council for funding for the foodbank and individual charity's at a Council meeting last week, but her request was turned down. SKDC Leader, Linda Neal told Lincs FM the Authority initially gave the charity five thousand pounds, as a one off lump sum and couldn't commit to any more funding.
