Quadring man faces jail for charity fraud

David Santini, 55, pretended he was from Help for Heroes.

A Quadring man's admitted pocketing hundreds of pounds after dressing in a military uniform and pretending to be collecting for the 'Help for Heroes' charity.

55 year old David Santini from North Drove's admitted fraud after asking for donations in Newark and Ingoldmells in 2014. 

A court's also heard he took 2 thousand pounds from a woman with alzheimers who thought it was going to a local veterans charity.
