Humberside Police have been told they're keeping too many children in cells overnight by the police regulator - who also criticised their search procedures.
In the same report, they were also criticised for not arranging appropriate adults to oversee things like strip searches for children and vulnerable adults in some cases.
It was also pointed out that the officers didn't satisfy the HMIC that the use of force in detention was always appropriate and safe.
The force was also found to not have recorded the ethnicity of just under 3 quarters of detainees who were strip searched - which makes it harder to detect whether any discrimination is taking place
Humberside Police say they fell below the standards they want to provide and will be looking to improve.
