Controversial plans for a second cattle market in Louth have been given the go ahead.

East Lindsey District Council have granted outline planning permission for the development on Fairfield Industrial Estate.

There had been a notable number of objections to the plans from local businesses and residents.

The application includes plans for a cattle slaughter auction and an auction house to hold other types of sales.
