One pound could be all it costs for a community group to transform Louth's Town Hall into a thriving local hub.
An organisation made up of local people are looking at taking it over themselves offering space to community groups, opening it up for functions and putting on specialist education courses.
A nominal transfer fee of one pound is being suggested.
East Lindsey District Council could approve it at a meeting on Tuesday.
