Nottinghamshire County Council reveal 12% gender pay gap

Women who work for Nottinghamshire County Council are paid on average more than 12% less than men.

A new report published by the council themselves shows women are also underrepresented in most senior posts. 

Leaders say they're trying to reduce the gap, make it easier for staff to work flexible hours.

They are also encouraging everyone to develop their skills and qualifications.
