North East Lincolnshire Council have just weeks to sort budget deadlock

The clock's ticking as Councillors in North East Lincolnshire try to ease the political deadlock on the budget.

Labour's proposals to increase Council Tax by almost 5% were voted down by opposition Councillors during the week.

They now have less than 3 weeks to find a solution or risk the Government stepping in.

Conservative group leader Phillip Jackson says they can't support the full rise because he believes Labour is inefficient.
