NFU says lessons have been learned from bird flu outbreak in Lincolnshire

It's hoped there will be better communication if it happens again

The National Farmers Union say they've learned lessons since an outbreak of bird flu in Lincolnshire just over a year ago.

Thousands of poultry had to be culled because of outbreaks of Avian Influenza at farms in Boston, Louth and near Cleethorpes.

Andrew Wilson from the organisation says they've worked with DEFRA to make sure IF it happens again everyone would know about restrictions as quickly as possible.
