Newark to get £12m sports village

The facility will provide for a wide range of sports

A brand new £12 million sports village will be built in Newark.

Nottinghamshire YMCA will start work on an athletics track and 3g football pitches next year for land off Elm Avenue.

They're hoping to also build a skate park, multi use courts for hockey and netball once extra funding is secured.
