New Red Arrows jets ruled out

The Prime Minister has ruled out buying new jets for the Red Arrows before 2030.

A number of Lincolnshire MPs, including Edward Leigh and Andrew Percy, have been urging Theresa May to replace them early.

The order would provide work for BAE Systems, which announced a cutback involving 1000 job losses last month.

But in a Theresa May she said while the Red Arrows' future was assured, the current aircraft will remain in service for another 12 years.
