New project to tackle domestic abuse in Lincolnshire

It's got backing from the government and domestic violence charities.

£1.4 million is going to be invested in helping tackle domestic violence in Lincolnshire. 

Lincolnshire Police have won backing from the Home Office for the scheme, which will see specialists work with people who commit domestic violence to help them change their behaviour.

Officers, social workers and teachers given training on how to deal with domestic abuse.
