Nearly 150 fines after CCTV car catches illegal parking outside schools

The vehicle has been patrolling 8 sites for 12 months

The CCTV car that patrols 8 Lincolnshire schools has raked in 6 and a half thousand pounds in fines in its first year.

The County Council set up the pilot scheme to reduce the number of drivers stopping on keep clear markings outside selected schools across Lincoln, Grantham, Sleaford and Boston.

They have now met to discuss if it is working well and are looking at plans to keep it running for another year.
