'Lessons learned' after 34 people financially exploited in Lincolnshire

Its claimed lessons have been learnt after serious failings meant vulnerable people in Lincolnshire were financially exploited for years.

The abuse was only uncovered in 2014 after a police officer started doing his own research and noticed a pattern.

A total of 34 adults were identified. Many were addicted to drugs or had complex mental health issues.

Today a report says the Council, police and NHS must work more closely together to better identify those at risk and get them help.
