Lincolnshire Police looks to tackle Islamophobia

The new purpose built mosque under construction in Lincoln. Members of the Muslim community have previously been the target of racist attacks.

Lincolnshire Police are looking to tackle Islamophobia by challenging the way children think about Muslims.

Police officers have been visiting schools to talk about the project.

The PREVENT projects centres around a video explaining the key role of Muslims in the UK.
