Lincoln's Dial-a-ride to get 3 new vehicles thanks to £100k grant

Dial-a-ride already have a number of specially adapted buses, but this cash will help them buy more.

Lincoln's Dial-a-ride service has been given £100,000 to help even more people live independent lives.

They've been given the cash by the Big Lottery, which will go towards buying 3 new specially adapted minibuses.

The service, which was started by volunteers using their own cars in 1985, helps people with disabilities or mobility issues get around the area or even go outside the county.
