Humberston Fitties sold to Tingdene

Leisure company Tingdene has bought a 125-year lease on the site.

The sale of the Humberston Fitties to a holiday homes provider has gone through for more than £2.1 million.

North East Lincolnshire Council's deal to sell a 125 year lease on the site went through earlier this week - they wanted to sell it as they say the park was unaffordable to run.

That's despite controversy around the decision with fears about what the holiday provider will do with the site.

Residents are concerned that changes could be made to the historic chalet park. They're also worried that they could be faced with extra costs for living there.

Tingdene insist they will make improvements.
