Humberside Police officer accused of misconduct for playing video games on duty

A Humberside police officer faces a misconduct panel after claims they played computer games while reviewing CCTV in a rape case.

It's also alleged the footage was played at high speed - meaning vital evidence could have been missed.

The panel will also investigate whether the officer lied about analysing evidence which could have led to a rape suspect being left at large.

All allegations relate to behaviour alleged to have taken place in 2015. The force aren't releasing their name to protect other people connected to the case.
