Jobcentre staff are calling for better working conditions and maintenance staff at Lincolnshire's hospitals are angry at cuts to their wages...

Jobcentre workers in Lincoln are joining thousands across the country on picket lines this morning.

It's in a dispute over working conditions and targets at Jobcentre call centres.

Staff say the Government's target driven culture and staffing freeze is stretching them to breaking point.

Meanwhile electricians, plumbers and maintenence staff at Lincolnshires hospitals are also taking industrial action today.

They're working to rule in dispute over pay cuts.

The RRP or recruitment and retention premium, was slashed by 50% in April.

That equates to almost £2,000.

Talks between Unite and the management of United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust will take place later.
