Grimsby blood cancer patients to be diverted to Hull

Certain patients who would normally get chemotherapy for blood cancer at Grimsby hospital will now be sent to Hull for treatment.

The trust in charge is meant to have 4 haemotology doctors - but by the end of this month they'll only have 1 left.

Managers admit they want to make it a permanent change - but they will do a consultation.

They say it'll effect around 70 people a year and are looking at how they can help patients who'll struggle to travel further.
