Grimsby is set to be transformed, after the government announced its backing a project to create thousands of jobs and make the town a hub for green energy.
The 'Greater Grimsby' plans were first unveiled in the Summer, but have now been included in the Industrial Strategy - thousands of jobs and new homes are on the cards, as well as a huge redevelopment of the docks.
The project, which could boost the local economy by £216 million pounds per year, will focus on creating several 'Enterprise Zones' in the area. These will aim to attract businesses that need access to the Humber Estuary and port facilities.
Another strand of the development is improved higher education facilities in the town, as its hoped in future young people will choose study locally to join some of the firms doing business in the town.
