Drinsey Nook site raided in connection with modern slavery case

9 members of the Rooney family were jailed for holding 18 victims in slavery

A site in Drinsey Nook has been raided by police in connection with a modern slavery ring that saw 9 members of the same family jailed.

Officers are searching the site to see if any fraud or money laundering has been committed.

A 26 year old's been arrested and is accused of theft and participating in organised crime. 

Nine people from the Rooney family were given a total of almost 80 years in jail two months ago.
