High Court issues a £3.5 million pound fine

A 12 year old boy who was starved of oxygen during birth at Boston Hospital is to recieve millions in compensation.

His family sued on his behalf - he has serious brain damage and now lives with cerebral palsy and learning difficulties.

The High Court has issued a £3.5 million fine after finding that with better monitoring he could have been delivered safely.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals trust have apologised.
