Those who pay for their own care in Newark will have to fork out more money in future, after a decision by Nottinghamshire County Council
The County Council are increasing costs by 3% - while also increasing the cost of transport and meals on wheels services.
It means those who pay for their own care will have to pay more.
For those who pay for the greatest amount of care, and live in the most expensive care homes - it will cost £668 a week, up from £649.
Costs are going up as budgets are stretched by central government cuts.
