Taxi drivers in Grimsby say people skipping fares is becoming an almost daily occurence.
One company says it has become such a big problem over the last couple of months, they are struggling to get drivers to cover night shifts.
The owner of Revells Taxis in Grimsby, Mr Svenson says some passengers are running off, of flatly refusing to pay.
But Humberside police say not enough drivers are coming forward to report the problem, so it is hard for them to deal with. But they say they are working with companies to make sure fare dodgers are brought to justice.
