Budget deadlock broken in North East Lincolnshire

Councillors in North East Lincolnshire have finally managed to agree on a near 5% rise in Council Tax.

It's after the increase was originally voted down by opposition Councillors who argued it isn't fair to ask people to pay more when services have been cut.

At a meeting last night leaders also said they'll look at bringing in a weekly recycling arrangement and larger bins for some.
