Bourne woman banned for life from keeping animals

Over 170 found dead at her home last October

A woman from Bourne has been banned from keeping animals for life - after admitting causing unncessary suffering to her pets.

When the RSPCA went to Maxine Cammocks home on Dyke Drove last October inspectors found over 170 of her 201 animals had already died.

Several surviving dogs were found in a shocking state and were taken away - officers returned a month later to find more animals suffering - including chickens packed into plastic containers

The 54 year old has been given a 24 month community order - 30 days of rehabilitation and ordered to pay over £300 in costs.
